Great all around foot gear
I've owned a pair for years and wore them almost exclusively since we live casually out in the country. They have just the right amount of shoe like appearance to pass where real boots won't, but still have great traction without mud clinging deep treads. The soles though dark and high friction do not mark or scuff floors. They are not really waterproof so I added some silicone spray knowing that that was not consistent with the tanning process. It darkened the Nubuck predictably to a shade I really prefer and added a reasonable water repellency. They lasted for years but the tread has worn and they don't pass muster for nice wear anymore, but if still use them for rough wear and expect to get many more years from them. As slip ons they are convenient to exchange for slippers in the mud room entry way. So my new pair will remain new looking for years since they will not serve double duty until the old ones bite the brick. Do I like them? No. ... I love the darned shoes to the extent shoes are loveable.
