The Tactical Research TR998ZWPCT composite toe boot is designed to perform in multiple environments. The Chrome series of boots from Bellville's Tactical Research division brings all their knowledge of military boot design into a lightweight tactical boot made for police and security use. This boot is protective, supportive, comfortable, lightweight and tough.
The Chrome 8-inch CT tactical boot uses a lightweight exoskeleton to add support which would otherwise require a thick leather upper and tons of hot padding. The effect is a lightweight boot with a thin upper which allows extreme breathability and freedom of movement.
Unlike some other tactical boots, the TR998WP CT is made of full grain, real leather. This means that the boot will break in right, stretch to fit your feet and continue to look good. Another advantage of full grain black leather is that boots is that you're less likely to see unsightly creases that could make your uniform boots a blight on the overall look of your uniform. Nope, full grain leather looks better, lasts longer and fits better in the long run.
These boots are designed to keep you protected. The waterproof breathable bootie which lines this Belleville tactical boot will also protect you against blood borne pathogens. The composite toe meets ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 standards for impact & compression. After all, who needs crushed toes? Beyond that, the great support you'll get out of these boots will help to absorb some of the impact of your day to day...so that your feet don't have to. The unique cleat and lug outsole design allows for superior traction in multiple environments and the StreetNav rubber provides slip resistance as well as really long wear.
To keep you comfortable, the TR998Z WP CT composite toe tactical boot has a compression molded EVA midsole and a double pour polyurethane cushioned insert. That's a lot of cushioning! On top of that, the hybrid lacing closure system gives you a secure, customized fit and relieves pressure at the top of your feet.
Need to get your boots on and off in a hurry? These boots come equipped with a full length side zipper so that you don't have to spend a half hour lacing your boots every time you're late for work...Not that you'd be late for work. Right?
If you need an 8-inch safety toe tactical boot for uniform use or just something to stay dry and protected on your next trek outdoors, do your feet a favor and pick up a pair of these Composite Toe Tactical Research Chrome boots today.

About Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company:
In 1904, five Belleville businessmen founded Belleville Shoe Manufaturing Co, employing 50 workers and making between 50 to 75 pairs of shoes a day. During WWI, Belleville Shoe received its first order for military footwear. This began an enterprise that has sustained the company ever since. The military boot making resumed during WWII, and the War Department was so impressed with the Belleville boots that it was bestowed its coveted Army-Navy "E" for Excellence Award in 1945. Of the 90 companies producing combat boots during the war, only five received this distinction.
In the years since, the government has repeatedly honored Belleville Boot Co. for its quality and performance, including the Defense Departmentís prestigious Defense Quality Excellence Award in appreciation for its performance in meeting an urgent, accelerated deadline. Belleville delivered 120,000 pairs of desert boots on or ahead of the revised schedule. The Defense Logistics Agency, which conferred the award, noted that of 656,000 boots Belleville produced in the year from Aug. 18, 1989 to Aug. 17, 1990, not a single boot failed to meet government quality requirements.
Belleville Boot continues to be the leading provider and innovator of combat boots, protective boots, flight boots and tactical military boots for the US Department of Defense (DoD). At 108 years old and over 1 million pairs of military boots sold annually, Belleville is still the oldest and largest US military boot provider.
