These wedge boots aslo have shock absorbing rubber midsoles and steel shanks that provide support.
The Goodyear welt construction joins the wedge outsoles to the leather with special waxed yarn. The sewn down stitching creates a comfortable fit that will withstand many days of hard use. This also means that the soles can be repaired. Impact-resistant polyurethane soles will give you traction on a variety of surfaces and help prevent falls.
