CRKT Ikoma Sampa Cold Forged Plain Edge Folding Knife - 5330
The CRKT Ikoma Sampa folding knife is the first folder designed by Brazilian designer, Flavio Ikoma. With a little push from renowned custom maker and designer, Ken Onion, Ikoma created a "gentleman's tactical" folder to add to the CRKT line-up. The frame of this folder is cold-forged 6061-T6 aluminum which has been gray anodized for a titanium look and then surface finished to reveal a bright pattern. The ergonomic handle design allow for a comfortable secure grip. The blade on the CRKT Sampa is a plain edge AUS-8 stainless steel which creates a drop point shape with slight recurve. The Ikoma Korth ball bearing pivot system (IKBS) has been added for silky smooth opening action. There is a spring loaded ball detent to keep the blade securely closed, yet a fast push on the flipper opens the blade of this CRKT Knife quickly and fully to the locked position. Includes a removable teflon-coated stainless steel clip for right-handed carry.
