This Silva Explorer compass is ergonomically designed to fit your hand comfortably, while the direct-reading scales ensure accurate mapping and plotting. The small lightweight camping compass is easy to carry with a lanyard hole, so you can hang it from your belt or around your neck, leaving your hands free. The extended base plate has inch and 1/10-mile direct reading scales that meet United States Geological Survey (USGS) standards and has a built in magnifying glass for easier map reading.
